The original drawing to accompany the lyrics for 'Pitiful Blues' - the third track on Novella. Once I'd finished the drawing, I decided against using it; it just didn't suit the song, and wasn't dynamic enough as a stand alone work.
The original drawing to accompany the lyrics for 'Reality Blues' - Novella's seventh track. While the artwork was interesting, it didn't fit the vibe of the song. As an artist I rely heavily on my intuition, and once I'd finished this piece it felt wrong. I went with my gut and completely redid it. The new drawing was a winner.
